Duck is the common name for numerous species in the waterfowl family Anatidae which also includes swans and geese. Ducks are divided among several subfamilies in the family Anatidae; they do not represent a monophyletic group (the group of all descendants of a single common ancestral species) but a form taxon, since swans and geese are not considered ducks. Ducks are mostly aquatic birds, mostly smaller than the swans and geese, and may be found in both fresh water and sea water.

Ducks are sometimes confused with several types of unrelated water birds with similar forms, such as loons or divers, grebes, gallinules and coots… Thanks for reading my blogs …

                                                                                                                                                                      بطخ واٹرفول فیملی اناتیڈی میں متعدد پرجاتیوں کا عام نام ہے جس میں ہنس اور گیز بھی شامل ہیں۔ بطخ کو اناطیڈی خاندان میں کئی ذیلی فیملیوں میں تقسیم کیا گیا ہے۔ وہ ایک مونوفیلیٹک گروپ (ایک ہی مشترکہ آباؤ نسل کے تمام نسل کے گروہ) کی نمائندگی نہیں کرتے ہیں بلکہ ایک فارم ٹیکسن کی نمائندگی نہیں کرتے ہیں ، کیونکہ ہنس اور گیز کو بطخ نہیں سمجھا جاتا ہے۔ بطخ زیادہ تر آبی پرندے ہیں ، جو زیادہ تر ہنس اور بطخوں کو بعض اوقات متعدد قسم کے غیر منسلک پانی والے پرندوں کے ساتھ الجھایا جاتا ہے جیسا کہ اسی طرح کی شکلوں میں ہوتا ہے ، جیسے لون یا غوطہ خور ، گریبس ، گیلینولس اور کوٹ… میرے بلاگ پڑھنے کے لئے شکریہ…
